TIPS Choose the right Network Select your Mobile
Broadband service, depending on where you will be using your broadband, and for
how long, and for what. If you travel around a lot, in Europe or further afield,
you need to go for a network with wide coverage and lower "roaming"
charges.
About Mobile Broadband speed :- All speeds quoted
by Mobile Broadband providers are "MAXIMUM" Mbps (Megabytes per second)
and speeds will vary depending on how far you are from a network transmitter,
weather conditions and the type of building you are in. Monthly Download
Limits. Monthly allowances are quoted in our tables above. These indicate
the amount of data (uploaded and downloaded) which is measured by the service
you are contracted to. If you exceed these limits then you will be charged for
over-use. This can make a big difference to your costs. If you intend to use your
mobile broadband frequently and for large amounts of data (i.e downloading music)
then go for the biggest monthly bandwidth limit. Staying with your current
network. Check out your options for taking on Mobile Broadband with the
current network provider for your mobile phone or home broadband. They often offer
competitive bundled deals. Some offers will only run for a limited time, so check
this, and look at the overall annual cost rather than a low cost for just 3 months
or so. |
